This charming 1961 midcentury home in Palm Desert’s Silver Spur Ranch neighborhood was completely reimagined and restored to honor its original design while adding modern functionality throughout. Previous remodels in the 1980s and early 2000s had stripped away much of the home’s midcentury character, but we brought it back—reviving key architectural elements and enhancing the flow and comfort of the space.
Highlights include a fully restored original fireplace, custom-designed air vents, and a dramatically improved galley kitchen layout. We reimagined the master bathroom as a modern retreat, preserved the charm of the classic midcentury hall bath, and added a custom spa to complement the home’s vintage 1960s pool. The entire home was upgraded with integrated Sonos audio and smart home features, including automated and voice-controlled lighting, locks, and window treatments—seamlessly blending past and present in true Palm Springs style.
This 1995-built home in Palm Springs started as a generic, builder-grade structure with little architectural charm. Our team transformed it into a modern desert retreat with midcentury-inspired style and thoughtful upgrades throughout. While the overall design direction was led by the client, we executed a full home remodel—installing all new flooring, doors, windows, and custom wall textures to give the home a fresh, cohesive look.
We significantly improved the layout by opening up the floor plan and converting an unused sitting room into a private guest suite, ideal for multi-generational living. This new suite included a fully added bathroom, complete with a new sewer line run to the street—a major infrastructure upgrade that allowed for true functionality and comfort. To enhance curb appeal, we also updated the exterior by removing dated Spanish-style stucco elements and applying a clean, modern finish. Additional upgrades included improved attic access for convenience and future maintenance.
